Hi Guys,
This was brought over from Japan this week. Unfortunately, I have smashed my car so I am selling some stuff (more to follow after this post - 62g springs, switches, caps, keyboards etc) :'(. Using the event as a wake up to downsize my collection.
It is located in the United Kingdom, these are very hard to come across new here! I will post to Europe. I will pay shipping to within the UK and only charge more for Europe if it is considerably more, otherwise I will cover it. I will cover the Paypal fees too, so my asking price of £180 is all you pay. I have looked online and it seems you can get them to Europe for around £200 but then would have to pay handling fees and import taxes from Japan on top of that. I am basically providing the opportunity for someone to avoid those extra costs and pick up a new HHKB with a slight reduction in price too.

Feel free to PM me with any queries and hopefully one of you can help me out and in return get this gorgeous thing! Paypal payment method please.
All the best, Fart_Toast

do you mean dollars instead of pounds
with the conversion rate right now thats an exceptionally expensive hhkb if that isnt an error
sorry to hear about your car issues, hope all gets sorted for you

Well not dollars...that'd be cheaper that you you could get it if you walked into a store in Japan right? I'll do some more research on what a good EU price is and update the listing, reduce my price but don't want to cheat myself either as it is brand new!

A hhkb is $260 on EK, that works out to be £154.449. With shipping it is £188.

I would have to agree with the OG HHKB Master. Maybe check out the prices on amazon.
But sucks to have car accidents, I've had my share. Hope your insurance is covering it.

That was my thinking...I've undercut EK price of £188...Also to get it to Europe you have to pay customs handling fees and tax...i'm getting rid of that too!

On Amazon UK they are £198 from Japan...plus you'd have to pay customs easily another £30. The accident was my fault i'm afraid :'(. Low speed though, no one was hurt. First accident I've had. Insurance is covering but my excess is high as a fairly young driver.

sorry to detract from this thread, but ill guess ill expand across my point as people are discussing it
firstly, i am aware of the insane prices somewhere like amazon charge, or the insane prices somewhere like EK charges for shipping
that being said, you arent offering much of a discount against there prices and if someone was to purchase from them, not only would they have the choice of their board colour and cap preference, but also after sale service
also you are not advertising for sale somewhere like amazon, where the market is very different, this is advertised on geekhack, where you can regularly see these go for the $220 range if not less right now
i have many hhkbs and ive never had to pay a figure close to what you are asking, even for proxying brand new ones
once again, i dont mean to derail the thread, and i can understand how you came to your price point with the research you have done, perhaps im a little jaded to localised pricing as i make almost all my keyboard related purchases from international sources, because uk prices are always so ludicrous
if you want mods to delete these posts im sure they will do that for you, i really didnt mean to stir up any fuss at all

Fair enough. Guess i'd hope to help out a UK buyer then as people located elsewhere can get them at lower cost. Price reduced to £165 $277. I've had offers close to that so i'll leave it a while and see who is interested. Have to pay for the repairs end of next week so it'll go before then. Thanks BL for the info.

if you pm me your paypal, id like to send you the £15 difference, so you dont lose out on money to help fix your car, and the person on the other end of the hhkb gets a better deal

Bump, had two dropouts so far. Others in the mix haven't got back to me... this is still up for grabs at the reduced price thanks to bunnylake.
-
So how much would this be with shipping included to Finland?
-
165+7 gbp?
Amazing price tbh. I would have gotten this if it wasn't for type-s that appeared. I doubt you will find a better price anytime soon.
