Title: TERA Online
Post by: Michael on Sun, 25 May 2014, 23:43:57
Anyone here playing this? Looking for a few bros to hit it up with. I play pretty casually - as in, not a whole lot of hours.

I have a few 60's on Tempest Reach.  I'm pretty casual myself, but if anyone's interested in anything I can probably find information on it.

That's true - they have this race called 'Elin', that are basically extremely underaged-looking girls lol

anything with a larger head to body ratio will look (child-ish)...  so... it may have been unintentional

I played from launch until a few months after. Then all my friends stopped playing. I wouldn't mind picking it up again since I love the combat system. What server are you on?

no breasts? Check

short? check

young girly clothing? check

I'd say this is intentional.

This for me too.  I picked this up with a few of my friends right after it went free and most of them have quit by now.

I am on Tempest Reach server.

And the combat system is amazing. Best part of the game. It's really like a fighter MMO of sorts. And this is coming from a WoW raiding veteran of 10+ years. I really enjoy the game, and I haven't even made it to endgame yet.

Played it when it launched and was a monthly sub, quit as soon as it went F2P cuz we all know how F2P ends up...

Sure, there's plenty of ****ty F2P games out there, but imo, this isn't one of them. It still has a subscription base. The F2P is nice, but you still miss out on a lot of goodies by not having a sub. The developers still pump in lots of content, improve the gameplay and give a **** about the game. Whereas most of the 'Perfect World Entertainment' are the prime example of ****ty F2P games.

If you quit simply because it's F2P, I think you're selling yourself short. The combat system is fun, and that's the main point. Bunny suits and skimpy outfits are optional :P

Nah, there was more to it than simply the fact that it went F2P.
