Yeah i remember about 7bit but the guy would take 3 months to ship 9 switches.

He's nice but if i can't get a workarround i would do, because i'm not willing to wait until september to get 5 MX that i cannot do without.

If there would be some sort of site like in here : http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?pg=1&l=search_list&s[search]=&s[title]=Y&s[short_desc]=Y&s[full_desc]=Y&s[sku]=Y&s[match]=all&s[cid]=43 Where they sell 5-packs, would be the best.

Thanks again for the fast reply, always appreciated.

Don't think they're readily available. I guess if there is, it's probably very expensive as well.

The GB isnt closed as far as I know. A friend has ordered some from this groupbuy(it is from 7bit as mentioned):

http://deskthority.net/marketplace-f11/cherry-mx-taking-pre-orders-t2760.html (http://deskthority.net/marketplace-f11/cherry-mx-taking-pre-orders-t2760.html)

This is a preorder. The reason mx lock is not widely available is that mx lock is produced on demand from cherry with a moq of 4000. Last batch was 3 years ago according to cherry. 7bit tries to get people to do a groupbuy so that he can afford to purchase 4000 mx switches.

I'd say you'll be waiting until they actually get 4000 orders in and then wait for delivery etc.

I know, it's classic. The more a single individual serves stuff on the internet, the slower he gets.

Kinda lame tough. Why don't you deal switches, Ray?

I did a mx lock group buy a while back but the place only had ~40 ish of them.

What is the use of the switch though? I mean I get that it's a cool thing from a mechanical point of view but what kind of switch would you use this for. CapsLOCK?

It would great as a FN lock where you can press it down it locks then your FN layer is always on then when you want it off you press it again.

EDIT: my internet lagged really bad...geez  :))

This is what i'm trying to do but with the PN layer as well (Poker II Programable layer) and the Win key aslo since there's only a single one on a 60%.

You could always make a WTB... and just accept you may need to buy X switches from X people to get them sooner. I have a feeling there are some people that have them and don't really know what to do with them.
