Hello I was not sure where to put this but I'm currently having a issue with my Poker II it works fine on my main system but when I try to switch it to my laptop it will not install the driver for the keyboard as the system keeps refusing saying there is none, I'm just a little baffled why I can't get it working on my laptop also just to note both systems are running windows 8.1 but one is the pro upgrade and the other is a standalone installation, if anyone could point me in the direction of some from of driver I would very much thank you.

did you try restarting after plugging the board in?
I don't think i've even seen a driver install for a simple board before (only sometimes for boards with macro keys)
-
Strange. Mine didn't install any driver and I'm running 8.1 Pro.
-
Yes I have tried restarting but it seems to not do anything, when I check under device manager it shows Poker II ! and states I need to install a driver as it didn't come with one and windows cannot find one, it also switches between showing as a Poker II and a Poker Pro S, but does not do this on my main computer ;/
-
Did you try a full shutdown? By default windows 8 does a hybrid shutdown
-
Yes I have I am starting to think it could be to do with the laptop though as I have just forced it into safe mode, huge pain to get it into it as well I have just noticed there was a firmware update for the poker released last year I may try that but odd how it keeps asking for a driver
-
Another thing to try is a new usb cable, who knows maybe its defective.

I was using Win8 and the poker ii was running fine. I'm getting a new laptop with win8.1 soon-ish(?).
I'll see if there's any driver probs. no guarantee I'll get it this week though.

Thanks everyone for giving me ideas anyway, got it sorted not honestly sure if what I did helped but after updating the firmware, rebooting into safemode removing the driver it had tried installing it reinstalled and works fine, it currently shows as a Poker II instead of the Poker Pro S as it normally shows but, its working so everything worked out thanks people :)

A question about poker 2 (i don't want to open a new thread).
Is it possible to swap/remap the fn key to caps lock?
Since i mostly game, having the fn key on right side is not practical since i want to be able to keep my hand on my mouse while still having the access to F keys.
Regards.

Yes, that is possible :) One of the DIP switches does that

What about the PN key? Could that be remapped by DIP switches?
