Title: Steelseries 7G
Post by: AmitB on Fri, 30 May 2014, 15:56:52
hey guys so today I've noticed that my l[ el ] button doesn't work.
I've tried to open up the keyboard and didn't manage.
probably i've put too much pressure on the soldering iron and it broke...
so my question is how the hell do I open up the plastic surface of the keyboard?I got all 4 screws out and still it's hard as rock, can't move it inch
is it possible to fix? the switch broke as well so I need new switch, black one.

Thanks guys ;]

the one you linked is fine. Check the case for any plastic taps that might hold the case together (look at how coolermaster has designed their keyboards). I think this thread should be moved to keyboards.

Thanks a lot! i've disassembled it  and the ironing is really easy.
