Wtf...we're getting shafted in the USA.Does US Coke contain HFCS?
Do you know what the difference were in the Indian coke?
Watermelon coke is SO good. Any pics our other flavors?
Spearmint coke?? I want that o.O
So is the Coke museum a part of a factory there too? Can you take a tour of their production facilities?
Do they still have Beverly? That was some really odd stuff....of course last time I was there was a really long time ago.
Does US Coke contain HFCS?yes, unfortunately it does. coke with real sugar is so much better. HFCS is the devil's brew
It's true import Coca Cola from places that use cane sugar instead is so much better. I often buy the Mexican Coke for that reason and it's almost as easy to get here as US Coke for only a small price premium. I'm still surprised they didn't do it in the US as well to compete with Pepsi. We do get screwed on flavors here with Coke, and even more so with Fanta. The rest of the world gets some really nice flavors... though I think a few of them are available in the freestyle fountain machines now in some places in the US. I am still mad they discontinued Blāk, that **** was great for black Russians.
Spearmint coke?? I want that o.OCPT and DV roadtrip pt2 to atlanta!

It's a coke product that's spearmint flavored, not spearmint coke. Imagine a lightly carbonated, sweetened Moroccan mint tea.
It's a museum. However, there's a mini manufacturing facility in the museum so you can see how coke is made and bottled.
CPT and DV roadtrip pt2 to atlanta!
Watermelon Coke sounds amazing. I need to try dis.

Should have said its watermelon soda, that I tried, not watermelon coke.
In the UK, we literall only have Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero and Cherry.
Boring :(
Self-freezing Coke from Hong KongThat's pretty darn cool.
China has watermelon Coke!

I used to drink quite a lot of Coke when I lived in South Africa and could taste the difference between Coke from a can, from a plastic bottle and from a glass bottle (seriously, no BS). Glass bottle was my favourite, then can, then plastic.O_O
I do find it interesting how different Coke tastes in different countries. South African Coke is awesome. Finnish Coke, meh. I think it has something to do with the water and sugar used, since I'm pretty sure the rest of the ingredients are the same.
The weird thing is that Pepsi isn't affected as much somehow. So in Finland I could take either, no real preference between Coke and Pepsi (depends on the mood that day), but in SA Coke is king. Pepsi doesn't stand a chance.
That "frozen" Coke looks awesome! On a hot day in SA, I would sometimes fill a beer mug with ice and fill the gaps with Coke, refilling a few times from the can as needed. Which brings me to another point. Difference between containers definitely does exist! There were 1L of class bottles coke here in the past and it was the best one, the small ones are great but not practicalShow Image(http://thumbs2.ebaystatic.com/d/l225/m/mfx5DwPt3_-vcROE1kaqXtg.jpg)
they discontinued them though :(

Not here we still get 200ml, something in between I forget what (think 300ml) and then a 500ml all in glass. The 500ml plastic is more common but many places carry the glass. They very recently discontinued the 1l glass bottles though :(
If you're old like me, you may remember there also used to be 1.5l glass bottles (thick glass, with a large metal screw top) and 500ml glass "stumpies" (with a thin "foam" plastic wrapping). Man, brings back fond memories thinking about those. Ah, "Have a Coke and a smile", "Things go better with Coke", etc.. Always had Coke when eating "things", which was often back when I was young.Yea I just talked to a friend and he says that we had 1.5L glass with metal cap, so I was wrong about them being 1L. I remember them being the best as well and the 2L plastic ones are still the worst.
The glass bottles with metal caps tasted best to me, with 2 liter plastic tasting worst. Cans tasted a little "sharper", if that makes sense, with a bit too much fizz. Hehe, sound rather like a cork sniffer.

Slightly off topic. Has anyone tried Fanta Mandarin, I have tried it couple of times in Greece and its easy my favorite orange soda :p
i've always liked off-brand pineapple soda... fanta's good, but off-brand is also pretty great, they probably buy the flavoring from the same guys...
it makes my teeth hurt if I drink alot of it... so clearly it's highly acidic.. but deliciously so...Show Image(http://emoticoner.com/files/emoticons/onion-head/good-job-onion-head-emoticon.gif?1292862505)
I went to that place when I was in the ATL for 3 months a few years back. I can also vouch for how foul Beverly was good lord! I think a reasonable fair few of the EU Coke products were horrendous tasting.
Did you get your little souviner glass coke bottle at the end? I still have mine here next to my desk.
If you are still in ATL or going back again any time soon check out the sweet water brewery that's a cool place and you get beer tokens for many delicious beverages and a cool glass to keep :)
Did you try the "blue" coke? :p I remember they have it ten years agoHmm, I remember Pepsi Blue, but I've never heard of blue coke! What is this magic?
