This may be a stupid question, but is it possible to use this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=230320160031) part from a kvm switch to convert XT to ps2? I asked the seller if this was possible, she said that it is, although I wonder if something wasn't lost in the translation (she speaks Cantonese I think).
I'm holding out hope that some sort of solution for XT-PS2 will materialize, although I realize this topic may be :deadhorse:

Nah, won't work. The signals produced by the XT and AT are incompatible. All that piece does is convert from one connector to the other and provide a slight boost to the signal.

There's an XT->PS/2 converter on clickykeyboards.com, but it costs $100.

That's what I feared, thanks for the fast response.

Yeah, it's way over-priced and from what I could tell, only works with the 84-key terminals. I wish someone could whip something up using the kbdbabel info.
