Title: Aluminium cases for 38gt pcb+ imsto's universal 60% plate
Post by: combataran on Mon, 02 June 2014, 04:45:21
I have seen all of these cases for 60%s that were group buys recently and I was wondering if there were any websites out there where you could get them from? I've been looking at the FMJ Design #1, the Hammer premium, Duck Poker and Duck Mini v2. could someone explain to me what the subtle differences between these cases are, and if they would fit my pcb+plate combo?

Their designs are slightly different, possibly the anodizing methods and which aluminum they use, too. The Duck Mini V2 also has a raiser block and its PCB supports Alps.
They should all fit the standard Poker mounts (you didn't mention which PCB you use), some block the dip switches though.
As for where to get them, the classifieds are your best bet, they usually get produced just for the GBs.

^: he mentioned 38GT in the title :D

Hammer premium case uses 7075 aluminium, which is better in quality than the 6061 of Duck Poker and Duck Mini v2, Duck Poker has copper blocks for adding weight, Duck Mini v2 has raiser to change the angle and also it has a pcb and plate came along

Whoops, my bad! The FMJ had the option for brass weights, too (I think the Duck's weights are brass, not copper).
