Considering that a HHKB Pro went for Euro 80.- some months ago, this looks like an opportunity. Currently at Euro 9.50.
Seller ships worldwide.

Euro 675,- final price.

That's not too bad considering the item. It's still too much for a keyboard, IMO.

Ripster,
Those clear model M keycaps (http://www.clickykeyboards.com/index.cfm/fa/items.main/parentcat/12151/subcatid/0/id/148619) under which labels and such can be positioned and remapping software (http://www.autohotkey.com/) make it quite simple to create a Photoshop-specific 'board. I can't see folks spending for those, but OK, whatever.
Agreed about the Optimus. To me, that thing's a useless gimmick. It's easy enough to re-map any 'board you'd like to do what you want--why spend that much money? However, for those who're able and want to do so, hey, more power to you.
Cheers,

I think the functionality is valid, especially if you need to do some drastic remapping of the keyboard. I do think, however, that the functionality was designed more as "art" than being designed for usefulness. I am sure a company could make a similar device with a focus on function for much less.
-
If your remapping needs are that dramatic, wouldn't you also be looking into layout adjustments or auxilliary keypads instead?
-
You could, but why not have an all-in-one device and reduce clutter, and potentially, expense (if someone made a more reasonably priced device).
