This DSI keyboard (http://www.dsi-keyboards.com/traditional-white-alps-mechanical-switch-big-font-keyboard-by-dsi.aspx) isn't (I don't think so at least) the one everyone here hates on. They have a different model number KB-BF-I-113, compared to the other KB-DS-BF-I-113. What does the removal of "DS" from the model mean? I can't say, but the title does say "Traditional White Alps Mechanical Switch Big Font Keyboard by DSI" so I assume it has white alps. I am looking to order this and I hope it does well as my first mech x'D.
P.S.- Shipping to where I live is ~$15 so the total is $40.

I would have to assume it's some kind of clone alps. I don't think I could handle the font either.
If you're after your first one and don't want to spend much I'd go with the currently $50 rosewill with tai hao switches.

They may not be as good as Matias switches, or as some form of the discontinued complicated alps, but for the price, at least it's known.

I also got a confirmation on the switches. I had ordered it before your reply above, but I think I made a good choice for the price. I will probably paint/dye the caps later on though x'D

That only means that it's Alps-style/shaped. Not that it was actually made by Alps Electric, they've been gone for a long time.

Ahh, well I'm still a noob here so I have a lot to learn :D
