I got it today!! For those who didn't read the other threads I talked about this in; I wrote dsi a request just for a shot in the dark to see if they had any smk-85's left. I knew others had been unsuccessful and I had been as well before. They always had said they don't have any more. Well this time they said they had one left!! It was one they used in trade shows!!! They sold it to me for $40!!! hehehe
It doesn't have that junky silver finish, it's pure white!! hehehehe. It uses simplified fake white alps keyswitches, clicky. It's a complete siig minitouch clone but with a bigger return key. Thing of beauty!!!!

That's a nice looking 'board. Congratulations.

I've been wanting one of those very much, except for the large ENTER key. Otherwise, I'd been all over that if I'd known they had it. Congrats on getting it for yourself!

nice find! that looks great, the mac one looks stupid in comparison

Nice pics. You must have tripod mounted and shot at f22 or something to get that depth of field. I need to be less lazy about my keyboard photos to keep up with the competition.

I was just holding it. It's cheap nikon coolpix L18. I have hotlights and diffusers though ;) I didn't set it up as well as I could have. It's partially outside my light box actually. I probably could have gotten better definition with the internals of the switches if I had really tried.

Nice and clean. Good find : )

Man, I'd love to have that. I'm still waiting to buy a Filco board with white alps. That will probably be better for me anyway, because it will be black and the arrow keys and home/end...keys will be in the standard placement.
Anyway, congrats on getting the SMK-85.
