Anyone ever done this before? Is there a name for this spring/switch combo? Just did it to my ErgoDox and it feels pretty cool so far -- definitely enjoying it.

I did that on my Filco. Super light. Very nice.

I like to call them...45g MX Clears :P
Make sure to lube them. I've tried other 45g Clear boards before and the modifiers would stick. They would press down and not return.

They seems to be sticky

add thin lube

Korean 45g springs or springs from Blues / Reds / Browns? I like to use 62g Korean springs, lighter ones have a tendency to stick unless lubed since the bump is so large.
Also works best with worn-in switches. New ones will have a little more friction.

Do we still able to buy those korean spring from any US store/sellers? :p

Originative has 45g and 55g springs in stock.... http://www.originativeco.com/collections/accessories/products/springs
I think there was a GB running for gold plated springs, too.. http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=55888.0
