I made two layouts and im looking for caps in these colors. I want blanks but.. yea. I will take whatever suggestions/help I can get to find them.
For the life of me I cant find any printed or blank caps in teal/cyan. :( So help me out if you can Geekhack! :)
Darker cyan is nice too, I just never made a layout using that color. If anyone has suggestions of keysets that are darker or lighter let me know~

i am aware of it.. im not a big fan of the legends though. and i really dislike the glasses print and the martini cup..

Speaking of light teal keysets, we should totally make a mint + chocolate blank set groupbuy :D

I would do it except Im poor and bad at everything to do with this kind of thing. :P And have no contacts at all.
Id do a pom jelly group buy before any other group buy if it was within my power.

Miami was the only set I've seen in these colours, and yes, there were legends.
Maybe someone will start a Miami blank GB at some stage - GMK do a nice pink and teal.
-
I would love a GMK Miami set. That would make me such a happy boy.
-
IIRC pimpmykeyboard offers DSA caps in pink and green
-
I dont want green.
And Im not decided on DSA yet.. I havent been able to try them otu and I dont want to commit to something like that until I've tried it,.

If you are interested you could always take a blank white set of keycaps and dye them in your desired colors with RIT dye

DSA blanks are probably the least expensive way to go. You could just buy the alphas and give those a go to see if you like them and if not, you should be able to sell them in the classifieds.
Otherwise, tigersharkdude's suggestion about using dye is a great idea too!
-
Thanks for the suggestions everyone. :)
-
I wouldn't mind something like a blank Miami set. GMK MOQ sucks though.
-
Does anyone have experience with the dye? The pictures look like they dyed evenly but they didnt take in some parts. Would adding acetone help it take or would it melt the PBT?
-
Acetone is generally diluted and added to help try and help the dye take in small increments. There have been some Youtube videos that showcase the process.
There are a few members here that have done it; hopefully they can chime in.

Thanks for all the info. Im considering doing this. Im just worried about it coming out unevenly and wasting the money. lol
Also kind of worried about it wearing off then being stuck with spotted white caps.

dye can't wear off, it becomes one with the key. It may fade, as any colored item will, over time but it will not wear off
