Title: [Video] Clipping Cherry Stabilizers
Post by: BlueBär on Fri, 13 June 2014, 03:20:00
Just a small video that shows how to clip Cherry stabilizers. I know Litster has a nice video of this already but I also show how to get them off your PCB, how to disassemble them and some lube spots :thumb:

As always, any feedback is appreciated and all questions are welcome!

Is this only for PCB mount stabilizers? Or does it apply to plate as well? Do I need to resolder every single switch to get to the stabilizers on a plate mount?

Yes this applies to Cherry plate mounted stailizers as well (I think I even say that in the video somewhere). You only need to desolder the switch in the center of the two stabilizer bases if your keyboard has a plate.
