Title: Cm storm bundles
Post by: Xenderwind on Fri, 13 June 2014, 18:40:45
Got an email a couple hours ago about these.  I believe both come with free shipping.

Bundle 1: cm storm spawn+skorpion(mouse bungee)+power rx mousepad $39.99

Bundel 2: QF stealth(browns)+cm storm spawn+skorpion(mouse bungee)+power rx mousepad $99.99

Never personally used their mousepads or bungee but I am a fan of the spawn.  Keep in mind though that the spawn is available at times for around $15 after rebate so you may not consider this that big of a deal, but I personally hate dealing with rebates.

Do you like mx browns? Seems like you like mx clears quite well.

I feel they're a good beginner switch but I prefer clears more.  The problem is clears aren't as available in most boards (or at least as cheap).  When I got into mechs I knew I wanted non clicky which ruled out blues and non linear which ruled out the other two common ones (red/black).

I know some people who start with browns and later switch to clears think of browns as "mushy" clears.  They just don't have the same feedback that you get from clears.

Add this code to get an extra 15 off "SIGNUP15".  This will be my first mechanical keyboard so I'm excited.  Tried the blue switch at a store and I fell in love.  I'm thinking that in the office I should jump on browns over the blues for now and at 98 shipped to my door with mouse, keyboard, and cord holder I can't go wrong.
