So I just spilled Dr Pepper all through my Filco. We're talking a good quarter of a can here. I've taken it apart and gotten the pcb/plate assembly out. All the keycaps are off... I'm not really sure how to go about cleaning the pcb and switches though. Is there something I can soak it in which isn't going to ruin it? Or would you suggest any other methods? :( Help.

Yeah, that.
Or replace the switches.
Or replace the keyboard :(

Thanks for the replies. I've given it a quick bath in some diluted isopropyl. I think that did the trick. Looks super clean now. Just have to wait for it to dry and hopefully I'm in the clear. I think I'll give it a couple of days just to be sure. Time to get my Realforce back from the mate who borrowed it I think. Thanks again. I realise now that I could have just goggled it :)

Happy to report that my Filco survived. Fully re-assembled now and working great. I also replaced the switch under the home key that I accidentally tore out over a year ago now (well before I joined GH). It's just been sitting in these not connected to anything so I'm glad I finally got that sorted.
Also I just realised that I might actually hit a 200 post count within a year of joining  :))
Thanks guys!
