Title: Remove Key Surround From Filco ?
Post by: Dirty Bint on Sat, 14 June 2014, 07:52:41
Hi,

Can anyone please tell me how I separate the top and bottom casing parts on a Filco standard size keyboard?
I have removed the underside three screws including the one beneath the "Do Not Remove" sticker but cannot separate the top from the bottom of the keyboard. It seems to be stuck on the lower edge (space bar edge)

Are there more screws concealed by  the underside rubber feet strips?

Thx

IIRC there should be some plastic tabs on the sides which hold the casing together.
Anyhow, if you just look up how to remove a filco housing/case you should get what you need.
