Title: Finally!
Post by: Manyak on Sun, 10 May 2009, 09:29:28
After 3 months of searching, I finally found it....

And I also picked up a brand new (unused) roller ball model, so if the wheel on this thing turns out to be screwy, or the feet are ruined/missing, it can be restored :)

Is that the actual mouse with original box that you are getting for that price, or is it just a stock photo?

I definitely will :)

Yeah, great deal too!   I miss mine as well.

I gotta learn to horde some old tech that I really like.  The Nostromo N52 gamepad for example got worse in it's latest iteration.

MUCH worse....you have to press those keys way too hard for them to register, and there's always one key that needs that extra push.

I dunno, but it looks like the actual item. The guy seems to be a private seller (not a company) and the only other item he's selling has the same bedding in the background (this (http://cgi.ebay.com/VIRGIN-MOBILE-FLARE_W0QQitemZ250419878149QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCell_Phones?hash=item3a4e301905&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2|65%3A1|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50)), and the MS stock photo is this:

Thanks, Manyak... I was just curious because the price seems really good if it's a working mouse with all the original packaging and accessories.  Hope it all works out in your favor.

Well if you look at the title of the listing it doesn't say "optical" or anything suggesting it, and with a gazillion ball mice of that model going for even cheaper its not very surprising :) I just found it by chance going through sveral pages of "intellimouse" lol.

And its not like mice back then had any accessories anyway, no fancy weights or different friction feet or anything. Just a disk.
