Title: Looking for new keyboard (recommendations)
Post by: yuukou on Mon, 16 June 2014, 15:52:12
Does anyone have any recommendations for a keyboard that is white with mx browns and is tenkeyless?

Thanks!

KeyCool?  if you can still get them.

Filco TKL is off-white (if you can still get it).

Ducky has a white model, but I have only seen full size.

HendyZone sells Leopold keyboards and they're available in white too, however it looks like he has run out of stock of MX Brown boards.

Does it have to be exactly TKL format?

White Poker 2 with Browns: http://www.banggood.com/KBC-Poker-2-Mini-61-Keys-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard-Cherry-MX-Brown-p-909746.html

Technically it is tenkeyless since it doesn't have the tenkey area....

Noppoo Choc Mid is a white TKL with MX switches (red switch version: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EDEW3IG/ref=s9_simh_gw_p229_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=0RJXB8WADPBXYVATCYX4&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1688200382&pf_rd_i=507846), not sure how hard it is to find one with Browns.

Choc Mini is an 84 key compact and also has a white version.

Otherwise you may be able to find a white Keycool 87 with Browns somewhere. There's also the Filco white Majestouch 2 (slightly off-white) and the Filco white carbon case. Not cheap or all that easy to find, though.

Ducky Shine 3 white edition and year of the rabbit are fullsize only. I've seen some white Rosewill boards, but I think they're also only fullsize.

giving a budget would be helpful.

<$100?

$100-$150?

$150-$200?

>$200?

Of course, break it down into smaller categories if you need to

My budget is probably around 200 max. I have a filco TKL but it is up at my school apartment, so I just need something to use at home because my noppoo is dying (after 3 years-ish). I am fine with boards that are smaller than a regular TKL as well. For example, I have been looking at the Leopold FC660M also.
