What would be kinda neat about that, though, is you could sell the mouse as kit and have the users sculpt/carve the shape of the case they want. It would probably be too much work for the average user, though.You might be onto something there because lots of people probably would like to be able to "mold your own" to fit your own hand and needs.

45 years later, Apple still has only one button on their mice.
It seems that Apple takes great pains to only keep one button. Maybe Steve Jobs had too much to drink 30 years ago and bet $10,000 that the one-button mouse would outlive multi-button mice.
