 :))That is faux alligator skin! Here's a shot of the materials.

Once I was happy, I transferred the design to the fabric.

Finally, I waited for it to dry, then trimmed it up.

Cool!  I'm still working on my first replacement cover.. its been so humid lately that I haven't taken it outside to paint a few spots that needed to be sanded yet

Neat paint job on that keyboard there. Never seen one like that before.
