You need emoti converter plugin for Firefox

Then load this xml file in the attachment of "This Post" it has the Onion-Cat emoticons pre loaded.

and you can access them from a drop down menu of the emoti converter.

they say mosquitos can detect high blood sugar... I have a hard time believing that though..

When I used to be really blubbery, I ate lots of sugar, and had no trouble with mosquitos..

Now that I'm  less blubbery, I've been having more issues with them when I'm out, at least it's good that there arn't any standing water around the house.(http://emoticoner.com/files/emoticons/onion-head/whistling-onion-head-emoticon.gif?1292862526)

no it's my  take on the digital world..

I remove as much color and brightness as possible.. because I'm on the PC as soon as I wake until I go to bed.

Grey text on black background..

accomplished using  windows classic theme on (win 7) + color toggle pluggin on firefox

This way... I can home in on just the important information.. and not be swayed by colorful advertising...

Mosquitoes in Manhattan are pretty rare.  But 2 years ago we had a super rainy and hot spring, like tropical weather, and the mosquito population bloomed like menace, and I had a mosquito fly up to the 11th floor and into my window and bite me.  How that mosquito got up in air 11 floors, I have no idea.  Anyway, it's a pretty normal spring/summer now, so no mosquitos here.  But we have rats the size of dogs, so it's a trade-off.  Plus there are the chuds in the sewers, and the mole people under Grand Central Station, so it's not all tea and crumpets.

It's most likely the CO2 people emit when breathing.

People who are more... blubbery... might have higher metabolism and higher CO2 output.

Not sure, someone who works with yeast (brewer) probably knows how long the mix will last.

1 bag of brown sugar and active yeast isn't too expensive though.

I have a family member who is going into a 3rd world country with mosquito issues so I'm looking up stuff.

all emoti converter does is insert bb code along with the address...

any forum that accepts bb code will work... any forum that accepts ..

OR if the forum uses a differnet system for posting images... just put their format into emoti converter settings, and  it will work for that forum...

But there is no way to go back and forth between different forums that use different formats conveniently..

But.. MOST forums accept (http://)

Have you been with so many mosquitos that killing them became your hobby...

Yep.  One of these shock rackets makes it fun! :))

**SNIP*** RIP old image hosting

That and a mosquito net on the door giving to the outside. And the stuff you plug into the wall  8)

I go on vacation to the same spot since forever and there are a ****load of "tiger" mosquitoes, filthy little quick and ultra-silent mofos (way nastier than most other mosquitoes): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aedes_albopictus

What I do is simple : I've got about three electric rackets so I'm sure to always find one and I bought a huge mosquito net (the kind of mosquito net used for a full size bed) but instead of putting it above the bed I put it on the door. Looks nicer than a "door net" IMHO. Then the other doors (the one going to the bathroom and the one going to the hall) are always closed. So even though I get a bite once in a while, at least my room is mosquito-free and hence I can sleep well (instead of spending my night chasing mosquitoes). My room is also as "white" and empty as possible: white walls, no furnitures besides the bed.  It is zen and it makes the mosquitoes easy to spot and to squash (which is less zen).

A big fan constantly blowing air prevents the mosquito from landing on you (it really works: I've spent entire nights in a room full of mosquitoes without getting a single bite)... But you then have to deal with the noise and air of the fan  :o

noob, hard mode: hands!

try chaos mode: catch them by hands, alive!

Hate when that happens! Do the one hand grab and squeeze. Open hand, it flies away.

So you're doing it wrong, the perfect catch is it's still alive but won't be able to fly, then let them craw on the table till death, sweet!
