Title: Realforce 104U - $170 CAD ($158 USD)
Post by: ckar on Sun, 22 June 2014, 07:44:00
http://search.ncix.com/search/?qcatid=0&q=topre (http://search.ncix.com/search/?qcatid=0&q=topre)

Pretty hot at $170 CAD (= $158 USD!)

Considering that www.elitekeyboards.com (http://www.elitekeyboards.com) sells them for more than that + USD exchange rate + shipping + crossing the border charges which will end up being another $100 + dollars to your order.

Buy from NCIX and avoid all of that!

(There are also some mild to hot deals on other Realforce keyboards too. Take a look if you are interested.)

NCIX Canadian rules for all things REALFORCE.  I got 2 extras from their sale recently, just so happy to hand over my money to anyone other than Brian.

For me it's a total WIN  :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: .

UPS Ground USA    $17.51   Usually takes 5-8 business days to ship. *

This is the only option, why does it happen?

Nonono, I mean it still bring the price down to $180USD shipped, but I am just wondering maybe he knows a way to get a free shipping for this since he mentioned on the top.

Now that I think about it, I avoid CA taxes, which is worth the extra shipping

Variable weight is actually great for typing. Games, not so much, as resting my fingers on QWER or WASD will accidentally actuate the weaker ones like Q W and A.

hmmm...if you move all the top row and nav cluster (not including arrows) you can replace all the alphas with 45g, but almost all of the top two rows will be wonky variable.

I'm going to try gaming on my 30g uniform, since it's one of the first keyboards I pulled out. I expect it'll be pretty easy.

You can also swap everything over to esdf (or .oeu) or whatever in your game. I do that mostly on my ergodox half far gaming.
