Should have NEC switches and they're really nice. However, I bought mine at around $25 shipped and another one that was advertised as "like new" sold for like $40 shipped. Both off the 'bay and very recent.

I'm wondering what the different between this H410E is, and the H4100E that I have.

They look the same, and have the same switches.

My H4100E has a straight AT plug though, not the 90 degree plug I see in the eBay pictures.

Rowdy, forget about the switch because there is no way in hell you're going to ever fix that keyboard, which just about says everything I need to know about you  8) .

i am still not clear on the difference between a 410 and 412? i thought i read somewhere that 412 has ds and a 410 doesn't-- but that is not true?
