Title: G80-1800 laptop?

I stumbled across this in my searches and am confused by it.  Is it a G80-1800 laptop?  Kind of like Dolch, but with the more standard colors?

Yes it is similar to a PAC. There were actually several different brands making those kinds of luggable PC back then with 1800 keyboard. Most of them were actually Dolch PAC just with different brand name, with same appearance otherwise. This is second beige one I have seen, and has a slightly different design to it than the other.
