Get folks,
Does anyone know of any dual-keyboard typing games? The girlfriend and I love Typing of the Dead, but it only allows one keyboard.
Thanks,
Mike

I seriously think that it is impossible to split keyboards input on a windows computer like with controllers.
And no windows, very few games.
Maybe you could be more specific?

I think he means like a co-op for typing games

Yes indeed, but stating dual-keyboard, imo, is impossible.
If you know how to have two different keyboard inputs that are separate i would be glad to know it.

I thought it could be done via hardware ID. Some were saying that the first Typing of the Dead had dual keyboard co-op.

Well in my head it makes more sense for older/simpler systems. AFAIK windows hides all that from the program, you just say "do this" when a key event happens, and then the program figures out what action to run.

dual keyboard?
If I had 4x arms... haha... and an extra lobe of brain to control them with.. (http://emoticoner.com/files/emoticons/onion-head/embarrassed3-onion-head-emoticon.gif?1292862502)

This.
I do not think Windows can split mouse and keyboards inputs, i currently have two keyboards connected in, the Steelseries 7G via PS2 and the Poker II via USB, and i never have the option to split inputs in any games/stuff.
Maybe there's a mod or something. If you find anything please notify this thread because that would be great thanks.

The system can obviously distinguish more (USB) keyboards; that's what HID Macros does on MS Windows. That doesn't mean such functionality is implemented elsewhere, nor that it's bug-free though.
