Good find. I have a good feeling there's going to be a whole lot more of these popping up as police departments are starting to phase out their Ford Crown Victoria police interceptors.
Edit: there's another listing with regional shipping that may come out cheaper by a dollar or 2 for you guys that live in the western US like I do.

They're pretty easy to desolder.
I plan to completely rewire mine to a teensy.

Have two of these and they both came with a cool rubber splash guard. (http://i.imgur.com/BJl7SiU.jpg)
Great to make a switch tester. Also plan on using the plate for a hand-wiring project.

I have since sold it, but the original two of these that I got, one had a splash guard that was like saran-wrap. It also had a slightly different font size. I suspect these have the usual moulded rubber guard.
