Ahh, another one of those supposedly Mopar diagnostic equipment boards.

One day I will have one, and I will mod it into an F using a custom PCB

Considering the grease on it, I don't think it's a stretch to think it is from an auto diagnostic unit.

I know, but it's just not as nicely done.

Meanwhile, there's a small contigent of people who have the interest and skills to make up the plans for it. I'll be revisiting that in September, after I finish building my Haswell-E rig. Keep an eye out (and keep a light eye on interested parties.. more we get, the easier to fab).

That's fairly in line for what they've been going for, and as it is older and has the IBM dot matrix logo and not the lexmark one I think he could have gotten even more.

The things I could do with $2000....and they blew it on a keyboard. I hope that person has a dispensable income.

ok.............so educate me guys-- out of a percentage of 100, how many were made industrial?

and out of that percentage maybe 101 winkeyless vs ssk?

we have seen the ssk's sky rocket in the last 2 years (?) and the industrials seem to be in another hemishere

are they really that rare?

SSK prices went through the roof late last fall through last winter (ie $300-400+ for average condition specimens) and a couple of pristine industrial SSKs sold in the $1200-2K range. Those babies are truly rare.

Since then, prices have dropped back the previous low-mid $200+ range depending on condition, and there are a couple of beauties on sale right now here on geekhack in the <$200 range. If I had the spare cash, I would buy one!

Industrial standard Ms sold in the $200-300 range until a year or so ago, and then prices seemed to double. My guess is that no more than 2% of all Model Ms made were the industrial color, but that is just a guess.

I think that they only came as part of a special set. Back then, you bought an entire "system"
