That is pretty interesting.  And it was programmable!  From PC Mag, March 1988:

Now, to find that parallel printer port and a TSR program compatible with a modern OS...

Going off of that ad, I'm putting my money on blacks. Caps look more like SP's then the rare cherry flat uniform keys

Huh? Definitely DSA (you can see it says “DSA” on the inside of the keycap). Yes, likely MX black, but you never know it might be something else with an MX-compatible stem.

List price is $264.71 in 2014 dollars, so $23 is a steal! :)

I prefer DSA for a tenkey: nice and flat.

With those keycaps, there's a good chance its M8 or something lower profile than MX. My IBM LPFK (1981 - 1983) has DSA-type keycaps and M8.

Adding that to a 60% kind of defeats the purpose of buying a 60% in the first place, doesn't it?

You'll have more flexibility on different combination, I mean I have numpad and 80% keyboard both at work.

I have doubts that adapter would be of any use, especially not without a custom piece of software to deal with the input.

Think a Teensy or equivalent might do the job.
