Hey everyone, I was curious to see what other peoples keyboards are set to using macros, programs, etc.
For Example,
On my full size keyboard at work ( autocad useage )
my num lock is programed to be always on, and the 'num lock' key itself acts like a delete key
my tilde key is programed to 'U'
F5-12 are media keys, play pause stop, next, vol +/-
Num pad + key is a backspace
Num pad * is ' and shift+/ is " ( for entering feet and inches easier )
swapped control and windows keys
Share your weird keyboard layouts below!

My keyboard is stock but the buttons on my G700s are programmed to autocad commands :D

I use a razer naga epic at work, I have it set up where I can work all day and not have to touch the keyboard one bit.
I also have my autocad commands to be set up in an FPS layout
for example,
s = extend
ss = line
sss = pline
and pretty much the only keys I have to use are qwerasdfzxc, so I always have a hand on the keyboard and one on the mouse, ultra efficiency!

Is this really necessary with aliases and right click repeat last command?

Its what works best for me, everyone is different.

Tenkeyless AT Model F
RCtrl and Caps both activate a layer which has:
Up/down/left down arrow - volume up/down, next/prev track
Backslash - mute
Backspace - print screen
Esc - system sleep
Num row 1 to plus is F1 thru F12
WASD are arrow keys
Either shift is caps lock
I also have Shift+Shift mapped to Caps Lock regardless of the active layer.
I was wondering about a 60% board at one time which is why I did the WASD and Fn keys, to try it out, but I never use them. I cannot live without the dedicated navigation cluster.

It varies depending on the keyboard, but universally, I reprogram backslash to backspace, Ctrl+backslash to backslash, and backspace to forward delete.

On my F-122 I do:
capslock = function for layer1
Layer1:
u = pagedown
i = uparrow
o = pageup
h = home
j = leftarrow
k = downarrow
l = rightarrow
; = end
I also configure a key on the left to be escape and one to be play/pause. I did other mappings on the left but never use them.
I am in LOVE with my function layer, it's so effective!

On my Model M Soarers I have right alt as a window key, and right Ctrl as an Fn key. Pressing Fn+Ctrl or Fn.+Caps Lock will swap Ctrl and Caps lock. Fn+Print Screen is mute, Fn+Scroll Lock is Volume Down and Fn+Pause is Volume Up. Fn+Space switches hjkl to arrows and Fn+h/j/k/l acts like a single press of an arrow key, although I found myself using that much less than I thought. Fn+Esc is sleep.
On my F, I don't have any layers. If I need extra functionality, I just map it to one of the extra keys.

For use with macs, remapping Alt to the apple/command/gui key is a must for me.

now.
capslock -> Win
in number layer,
m -> 0
j -> 1
k -> 2
l -> 3
u -> 4
i -> 5
o -> 6
7 -> 7
8 -> 8
9 -> 9
p -> +
/ -> /
- -> -
' -> *
; -> enter
compatible tenkey pad
-
I always make sure to have a hotkey that takes me directly to zombo.com

I use Colemak including Caps Lock remapped to Backspace. When playing RTS games on my Noppoo Choc Mini, I swap Caps Lock and Control, i.e. Ctrl is next to the A key and Backspace in the corner Ctrl spot. I never use Caps Lock or the "hardware" Backspace key.
While I had a Kinesis Advantage, I remapped Caps Lock to AltGraph, because the default AltGraph placement was very inconvenient and Backspace was already present in a thumb cluster.
I had an Apple Aluminium International keyboard for a while too. The narrow Enter key was so horrible that I swapped backslash and Enter in software.
My ErgoDox layout looks like this (arrows are on the home row on Layer 2):
