What is everyone's opinions on these? From what I've read there basically just knock off cherry mx switches and not quiet as good. Reason I'm asking is because it seems some companys like "Keycool" "TTesports" and "newmen" seem to have switched over from cherry's to these. Sadly Keycool even though they are using lesser switches the price on there board's seem to remain the same unlike good guy TTesports.
I'm wondering peoples opinions because one of my dream board's which I was recently thinking about purchasing was the Keycool 84 white with blue switches. Sadly it seems as if finding the V1 of the board's is hard now a days. Add in the fact that I want it to be the white board with the blue switches it makes it even more difficult. Now I was considering compromising but I'm not quiet sure about the switches reputation.
Especially since if i add in that the Noopoo choc mini has the exact same lay out I want (( not sure what it's called when there is little to no gap between 1 and f1 keys)). It's cheaper then the keycool II and they are still using cherry mx switches. While I don't get the nice little back light I'm sure getting all clear caps and Installing my own led light's probably isn't to hard of a task or to steep in the wallet when it comes to quality comparison.
So how is everyones experience with these switches or is the best bet to just get a board I don't want as much but with cherry's instead.
As a side note.
If anybody else knows of boards I could find from reputable re sellers (( amazon, newegg etc )) that have the similar layout ((or a very tiny gap between the 1 and f1 key's)) are cherry mx preferably and white board's with or without the backlight's it would be great!
(( would it be hard to find/create a white case to fit the Noppo choc mini 84 or paint one?))

75%
Also noppo isn't the exact same, its much ****tier. Keycool84 can use any keyset that includes a tsang for the 1x and 1.75x keys. Noppo on the other hand has a shorter, unstandard spacebar, which is pretty much impossible to replace.
Also not exactly sure, but the noppo pcb may not allow backlighting

Are these like Kailh switches?

That reminds me; sometime when I have less work, I should update the Kailh keyboard list again. Some TaoBao ads are starting to show PLU's keyboards with Kailh switches instead of Cherry, and there are new suspects for the "to be investigated" list emerging all the time...

I see I didn't know that I figured the noppo would be better since the only white keycool 84 (( or any of the 84 keycools even black )) I can find seems to either have A. different color cherry switches then I want or B. Is using the kalih switches. Are you saying that even though keycool is using kalih switches it's still better then the noppo which is using real cherrys?

After reading through all those post's I'm really starting to have my doubts about getting a keycool... Even though I love the way it look's those switches seems like they would cause issues. I had to switch to a model M ((unicomp)) after I destroyed a pair of alps in my leading edge dc-2014 because I didn't want to have to buy a new board in 3-4 years.
Sadly at nearly 5 pounds lugging around this model m is becoming more and more impractical and a nice 75% board like that keycool would be ideal. But I'm guessing those kailh probably won't last me very long. Sadly I might just have to get something uglier or less ideal that uses cherry instead.

Cant you just get a used one or something? Also Ive seen keykolls running arounds with MX switches still, clears mostly, granted I haven't been looking very long. Do they just say their cherrys?

The only keycool's I can find that are still using cherry switches are not using blue's. The ones I can find seem to be using cherry brown switches. Besides for that I'd really prefer a white keyboard but I can't even find keycools black version that is still using blue switches anymore.
