Looks like the place that has been selling "Prototopre" on occasion is have a grand finale:

UPDATE: After a some checking and it appears these are the rubber dome version with membrane sheets, not the PCB "prototopre" version.

I would try and verify with HaaTa whether or not this was the proto-topre or dome version.
edit: probably the dome version according to HaaTa

Out of an obscure interest in possibly buying this, will it work directly with any modern day PC?
Would you still require a 'Soarer kit' to make it work?
