Title: Rebinding keys on Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop @ OSX
Post by: Elvar on Tue, 15 July 2014, 02:05:43
Hallow guys,

I just purchased the Microsoft Sculpt keyboard for my Mac, so far i'm loving it, it is what i hoped it to be. :)

However i have some trouble with the bindings of the keys, the most basic i can do out of the box from the preference pane ie. alt to cmd, windows to alt.  But between the right "Alt Gr" button and the right "ctrl" button, there is this right click button i believe, and i would really love to rebind this to that extra alt key.

Also there is a lot of media buttons i would like to rebind for something useful; i tried the Microsoft drivers for mac, but they are outdated and function like absolute ****. So i tried to find something a bit more low level, and came across usb overdrive, but it does not register my keyboard at all.

Does any of you guys know how i can rebind the keys properly? Much appreciated. I am a Dane using a US keyboard layout (Maps better for programming imo), so the alt button is utterly important for me, as i use it to write the Danish chars.
