Title: Cherry G81-3054HAQ (Greek ANSI doubleshots)
Post by: Photekq on Wed, 23 July 2014, 07:20:28: Got this yesterday, thanks to kbdfr posting it in the DT great finds thread :) The keycaps are like-new with no shine at all, so I'm very happy with it.

It's just a regular ANSI G81, but the keycaps are really quite interesting. The Greek sub-legends are actually part of the doubleshot (the proof is in the macros). They're not pad printed, unlike most other Cherry doubleshot keys with sub-legends (3000HAV, etc.)

G81 membranes reflect light quite a bit :))

This is one of the rarest sets so far on GH.
I have a feeling of Ancient Greek and Math Symbols when I look at the legends :eek:.

I would want it, anyway I don't have classic set and wouldn't mind having one. Question is are the greek letters pad printed or DS?

EDIT: NVM just read that greek letters are DS, looks even more tempting

As pointed out in the DT discussion about this, there is a wrong legend on a key (W should have ς not ç) so if it does happen I think just do a small 12 key pack with only the correct ones. Should be fairly cheap that way, likely around €15.
