Hi guys,
I just brought my first mechanical keyboard, the Cherry ML4100 and I absolutely ****ing love it! Coming from an old, cheap membrane keyboard I can honestly say that I do not know how I managed to use that piece of **** all these years.
The ML4100 I got has been forgotten in an attic for some years and I suspect it might need a little bit of cleaning and lubing. Can somebody tell me how to do it? Can I just remove the key caps, vacuum the switch and then spray some silicone spray on top of it?
Also, kinda unrelated but you guys might be able to help me. As soon as I get hold of some money I plan on buying the Feenix Autore. I really dig the brushed aluminium look and I heard it's really heavy which are two BIG plus points in my book, besides the fact that it is mechanical.

You'll probably have to take it apart to lube it properly like most switches. Bro Caps posted a picture of the points to lube here (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=41042.msg820918#msg820918). I bet you'll have to desolder the switches too.
If you do get the Feenix Autore, please write a review or leave some impressions. There's not a lot of feedback here about that board and I'm just curious :).

I will surely post a review(incl. pictured) but being a total newbie I will just probably be blown away by it and say it is the best keyboard in the world hehe. I haven't had a chance to try any of the MX switches ... I saw some sort of cherry switch strip with like 3 or 4 MX switches. Where can I get one of those?

QWER, Max Keyboard, Deck, and CM Storm all have Cherry switch testers.

WhiteFireDragon has posted a video of lubing Cherry ML switches. It's almost at the end...
