Title: New TRRS Cable, Ergodox not compatible for some reason. (help!)

My Ergodox doesn't seem to like other TRRS Cables other than the one that came with it. I've tried one that came with a pair of headphones, and most recently the one I received from Mimic.

And yes they are plugged in all the way and have a firm connection with the port. Anyone else come across this issue before?

Can I just say that cable looks absolutely fantastic? It's a damn shame it's not working, hopefully a simple fix.

I know! it's killing me that I can't just use it as is for some reason. Could always use as a sweet headphone cable I suppose...:(
