Title: Kinesis Advantage + Lenovo Thinkpad = :(
Post by: jzpmendoza on Thu, 31 July 2014, 20:26:49
I took a new job where my main machine is a Lenovo Thinkpad (attached to a dock). I don't have the model number on me at the moment as I'm at home.

Regardless of which USB port I connect my Kinesis to (even the yellow one!), the keyboard fails to function. All four lights on the keyboard will light up solid when plugged in, but they keyboard is still useless.

Any idea what I could do to get this to work? I'm thinking that a USB hub might somehow fix the issue, but haven't purchased one just yet.

Do other keyboards work when plugged in to the Lenovo?
Does you Kinesis work on other computers?
Do you know if you need some sort of admin access to hook up new devices?
