Title: [WTB] KMAC PCB
Post by: Sifo on Fri, 01 August 2014, 06:09:12
Need the v1.4 KMAC PCB very desperately, please and thanks

More
Don't care what kind. Was playing Osu with my techkeys card (freaking amazing with lubed 62g vintage blacks btw, I can stream flawlessly) and realized that the contacts had gone bad or something cuz it was double tapping once in a while (annoying as ****). Swapped them out for some plate mount bottom pieces but it's hard to align them properly and kinda bothering me, but at least it fixed my problem.

So if you have 3 pcb bottom parts to an MX switch with the contacts in good condition hit me up. Shipping will be to Canada.

Won't changing the bottoms not make it a vintage black switch any more? Or is the stem all that matters?

Anyways, GL with this!

It would feel slightly rougher with a new lower housing unit.

Sifo, I got some extra pcb mount switches if you can't find anyone within Canada (I am US)

It will be slightly less smooth but I really need PCB mount :P I think lubing it and then just breaking it in will give me a similar enough feeling.

If you could check I would really appreciate it <3

I'm only about a half-hour from you, I could swap you some pieces no problem.

There is an IC for KMAC compatible NerD TKL PCB and plate combo. I guess that should work for your purpose.

If this was for my KMAC I'd jump on it immediately because I love GON's PCB. However I don't have a KMAC, so we'll see what the owner wants to do.

How about the people who plan to get in on the GB to use a NerD sell a KMAC 1.4 if it doesn't work out? :)
