Title: Removing paint from caps
Post by: Demetrium on Mon, 04 August 2014, 16:56:44
I've got a CMStorm Trigger and the black coating on the WADS keys is starting to rub off. I sanded off the top of of a key to test to see how it would look but it seems like there's a lot of black paint on the inside blocking the back-light from coming through.

I kind of want to try taking off all the paint to see what a "clear" key would look like. If I left them overnight in rubbing alcohol or something like that would it take the black out? Any advice/suggestions from modders?

For a more consistent look, you might be better off getting hold of 3 transparent keycaps.
