Hi all. I've just bought a Das keyboard which obviously doesn't have backlit keys. I'm wondering if caps are available with reflective lettering so they're easier to see in low light (for when I'm gaming in the dark in front of my projector screen).
Failing that, could I get key caps designed for backlit keyboards and put some reflective stickers inside them?

Welcome to Geekhack!
There are a few glow in the dark keycaps, but I have not heard of a full set.
Really, the ideal solution for you sounds like a backlit keyboard.
If the DAS is not too heavily used, you should be able to resell if for nearly what you paid for it.
Or keep two keyboards :D

Thanks. I can't really afford a new keyboard right now. Yes, I've seen a few glow-in-the dark keycaps, but I don't think they'd be as good as reflective. By reflective, I mean like the adhesive decals you can get to stick on bicycles etc. That stuff reflects really well and would work just as effective as a backlight I reckon.
Oh well, I'll have to make my own somehow...

The glow in the dark ones lose their luminance very fast anyways.

I've seen these:http://www.keypop.net/product/gid-glow-in-the-dark-gamer-keyset (http://www.keypop.net/product/gid-glow-in-the-dark-gamer-keyset)
and these: http://www.myglowkeys.com/ (http://www.myglowkeys.com/)
I might try both.
