While waiting for my stock poker case and springs to come, I tried a few things with my faceU replica PCB as per the video that I've recorded below
It might or it might not work with other 60 boards but I certainly hope it does.
I wonder if there's any noticeable difference if i were to remove the resistor from the switch led hole that i want to plug in the led strip to.
Edit:
Sorry if the video sucked. :<

You copied the link wrong... It doesn't work.

It would probably look the best to put a flexible led strip inside a GON board.

I just love how we call it "FaceU Replica" now. Kinda like "Rolex Replica" or "Coach Replica."
Bootleg or knock-off would be more accurate.

:< sorry jd please don't bash me I got a wife to take care of
anyways, off topic, any of you guys consider this piracy or some sort?
A flexible one is always better in terms of fitting things into place. I don't have a flexible one at the time of recording so I've used what I have first.

Nice video :)
those boards developed by beastmask @ winkeyless.kr are all very led friendly.
B.face is the legitimate successor to faceU and is capable of this :thumb:

Thank you for your comment :)
I've came across with bface and b87 in winkeyless. damn the ps2avrgb really rocks! but this method is just something to compensate people who don't get bface or b87 pcbs.
Is there any groupbuy happening for the b boards? I know that I've came across gbs for those but they're over :<
Just wondering if we can powerup a teensy to the VCC and GND holes of the ISP AVR and plug in a 5v rgb led to the teensy so that we can program anything we want?
In theory it's possible to powerup a teensy with both the VCC and GND

B series boards have a separate controller dedicated for the rgb leds. Not sure about teensy but it would be really cool.

i'm still waiting for my teensy to come so that I can try it out. need to get 5v rgb leds too
any idea where to get b87? or the gb page?

There was a small group buy on kbdlab couple of months ago. I don't know if he's still selling them but in general it's difficult to participate in those GB unless you have someone in Korea helping you out.
