I was putting the board back into the case after having added some LEDs and this happened.

As far as I can tell the large pads have been torn from the traces. The actual connections for the pins of the USB seem to be intact but separated from the PCB. Going to try and resolder those now.
Has this happened to anyone else? :(

You going to want to find some small wiring. Then follow the tracing of any of the broken pads until you find a solder point. You then solder a wire from the pad to the solder point. This will make it fully functional. But you may also want to use some kind of glue or epoxy to hold the plug in place.
