Title: laser etched PBT keycaps.
Post by: henz on Mon, 11 August 2014, 04:47:02
Ducky has a set of laser etched pbt keycaps with gold legends,

Do you guys have any experiece with these caps?

Im thinking of ordering them for temporary use.
And then sell them, So i would want the wear and tear to be minimal

The Ducky set that you mention could be the thin PBT, OEM profile.
Indeed, if could be last for very long before the wearing can appear.
Anyway, you should consider this thick PBT set instead.

Laser etched PBT will last a good long while before wear starts to show, so I think they'll do what you want.

If the set you're referring to is the 111 key set like this: https://www.teraset.net/product_details.php?p=9332#.U-iriWOEyHs

then it's thick PBT. Very nice keycaps.
