Title: Vintage SILICON GRAPHICS KEYBOARD AT-101 PS2 - White Alps $39.95
Post by: Oobly on Thu, 14 August 2014, 01:02:54
Another eBay find. I like this board for a number of reasons:

1. Old Silicon Graphics logo!
2. White Alps (I believe it's complicated White Alps)

And here's another one with less dicolouration on the spacebar, same price: http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-SILICON-GRAPHICS-SGI-PS-2-KEYBOARD-WHITE-ALPS-SLIDERS-/291202965543?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item43cd0ca027

Almost all SGI "bigfoot" keyboards have had dampened switches, either the "Alps Cream" or the "White Cream" which feels like the Cream but where the slider is white. These are not to be mistaken for the clicky white Alps.
I have heard of black Alps also, but I wonder if they really are true SGI keyboards or if the innards have been swapped with those of a Dell AT101.
