Title: [Giveaway] KBK Mummy II topre

I decided to give away this Topre Mummy II because I don't have any Topre boards and someone should be using this beautiful key.

How to win:

Post a picture of your Topre keyboard with a blank key where you would put this Mummy II. Then recreate that image with paint, Photoshop, Gimp, etc (don't just apply a filter, get creative). I'm interested in both pictures for comparison.

I will run the contest for a week until next Monday the 25th sometime in the evening EST. Winner will be selected by my wife who is a graphics/game designer.

Work in reverse order then, start with your digital painting and then snap a photo when the keyboard arrives. I can always extend the deadline if people want more time, but I'm not expecting masterpieces or anything. I just want people to have fun while being creative.

I am not an artist, but do I qualify if I draw on an iPad instead? I think drawing with my finger is easier than mouse!

Oooh, I'll be in for this. I have a few Topre boards that I need a key for. Missed out on the last two sets of Bro Caps on [CTRL]ALT and I dig on these KBKs, too. I'll art it up over the weekend!

EDIT: Jesus, drawing a keyboard takes a long time. Finally got a photo I like, though.

Surprise to see no entry. I have been working on mine for the whole weekend and was enjoying myself. So here's my entry:

This is where I will put the Mummy. Mummy is a dead Pharaoh, right? So it deserved to be protected by skulls:

I might as well post my entry now as well, since I'll probably forget to do it while at work tomorrow.

This was done with MSPaint using a mouse.  It took a bit of time this weekend, but I've been having a lot of fun doodling around with MSPaint recently, and this was a nice way to take a break from work.  And well, I just love Mummies. :)

Thanks Daniel for the really fun contest idea.  :thumb:

Nice work, man!  I've never used Papers before.  Also, I tried drawing on my iPad once.  I thought it would be easier to draw with a finger, but for me my finger was just too big, haha.

Haha, MSPaint takes some getting used to.  I stopped using the straight line tool, since for me the overall image seems to look better when everything is equally squiggly and ghetto looking. :)
