Title: Piecing together a keycap set

I am building a keyboard.  I designed a layout, and I don't believe it matches any keyboards out there.  A USA-standard (ANSI?) 104-key set would fill most of my needs, but I still need a few other keys, most notably a pair of 2.75x or 3x keys for the bottom row (instead of a spacebar).

So, how easy would it be to find spares that would match a set I get elsewhere?  I see cheap 104-key sets on eBay for ~$30, would I be able to find two more 2.75x or 3x keys?

for 3x the only one i know of is SP does a 3x DSA profile key.
you'd need a DSA set [cheapest is their blank PBT that I know of]

for 2.75 you could steal extra shift keys

You can order individual keycaps from here:

DCS profile you can get extra right shift keys (2.75x), DSA profile you can get 3x keys.

You can get matching complete keysets from here: http://keyshop.pimpmykeyboard.com/

They have blank DSA sets in a few colours and Black / White DCS sets. You could also join a Group Buy if there is one that catches your eye. Pay attention to the profile, though.
