Title: Hello, membrane user here. Looking for a mech to buy
Post by: knightfall on Thu, 21 August 2014, 00:42:45
Hello, I am Knight Fall. Undergrad cs student. Currently using a Genius membrane keyboard. My fingers are quite fragile. So, I am currently looking for a low actuation force mechanical keyboard.  My  search for a keyboard under 120 has brought me to this forum

Welcome to Geekhack!

Something with MX reds might be best - low actuation force and linear action.  Couple that with O-rings to soften the landings.

Or perhaps 30g Topre- even lighter, but more expensive and more difficult to find.

if you do have specific requirements to work-around a medical situation, perhaps create a thread in ergonomics (http://) with your specific requirements.  Many here have found solace and advice in that area :)
