So... I saw this and thought of you guys.

I think George Takei posted it originally so I went looking for where it came from: http://theawesomer.com/keyboard-waffle-iron/269145/

Nice layout.

Gimmeeeeeeee.

60% Waffles?!?!?!

The upper 'mold' of the iron doesn't line up with the waffle sitting in the machine. Maybe they just flipped it on accident when taking the picture.

That was bugging me to until I realized the waffle is backwards. You can see the spacebar part of the mold is in the back of the waffle maker.

Who will make such a Waffle Maker?
Surely this is just a photoshopped thing.

Probably before r00tw0rm, there was a great collection of keyboard-related photos here.
I loved the concrete "stepping stones" I think it was from a park in Europe.

Nah, its real. Some guy makes them out of spare parts.

I do love me a tasty keyboard. Pour some maple syrup on it and you'll have a thing going.
I mean waffles. Waffles. Damnit. Waffles.

Should work - they are basically the same as a Model M, and so many Model M are still working well after ~25 years.
That this one has malfunctioned so soon seems suspicious.
Get back in contact with Unicomp and say that you have tried their solution, but it did not work.

I emailed the designer and he says he's putting together a Kickstarter campaign to produce these. No ETA.

Would buy for under $50
