Title: [Selling] Razer Blackwidow Tournament Edition /w Oranges
Post by: Fragil1ty on Sat, 23 August 2014, 20:20:30
The Keyboard:

I'm selling my Razer BWTE /w Oranges as it gets absolutely no use what so ever, I bought it a long while ago (back when Razer released their new switches and what not) and then I used it for about a week or so and then realised that I didn't like it because my love for MX Cherry Reds was just too strong and I didn't like the TKL layout (I've used 75% for almost 2 years now).

Encase you are wondering what this switch is similar to, it's essentially a new and improved MX Cherry Brown switch, Google around if you would like more information on this.

Shipping

I ship to England, Europe, Canada and United States. If you're in England/EU then obviously the shipping is going to be less expensive and what not.

I will try and ship it the next working day after the payment has been cleared and what not. (I always use shipping that has tracking options btw, so don't worry)

Pricing

Considering it is pretty much brand new and I've only used it very briefly, I'm willing to knock off 20%, so I'm looking for a price in the area of:

£50 - 55, although I'm always open to offers.

This does not include postage and packaging btw, you will also have to cover those costs, which is usually around £8-12, depending on what service you would like.

P.s. Sorry for putting the wrong date on the initial picture, as it's the 24th and not the 28th, rofl. (Maybe I'm a time traveller).

I thought the new Razer switches were cheap Chinese knockoffs that Razer is using to cut costs.
Anyway, I want to watch this thread so I can see how much it sells for.

They're using a "improved" version of kalih switches? Is that what they're called? but yeah, they're just those switches that have been changed/adapted to suit Razers needs and what not.

But thanks!

I'm not sure if they're taking the kalih switches or not but from what I heard they're just knockoff switches

I'll be honest with you guys, they do feel different than browns, but they do not feel cheap or like 'knock offs' what so ever.

To be honest, I can't really tell you what's better as I've not used brown or razer oranges nearly enough to make a judgement call. But the oranges are a lovely switch, they're just not for me.

They feel pretty nice IMO, I used the greens on a display model at Best Buy, not long enough for a real judgement but they felt real nice and seemed like the keys bounce back faster after being pressed and the actuation force felt a bit less compared to my blues. I wouldn't mind having a board with these.

I've not had a chance to try out the green switches myself, have a few friends who use them though and all are very pleased with them and what not. I'm just not big into browns/tkl boards and what not, so I'd like to get a quick sale on this, put it back into getting another 75% board to be quite honest.

I am interested in how they compare to Ergo Clears ...

Evidently I'm not getting the fast sale that I did in-fact want, I'll decrease the price down to: 45-50GBP. I will now be accepting offers in that price range.
