Title: CM storm quickfire stealth cherry blue problem

Just wondering if anyone could help me out with this problem, I've actually owned a black widow as well with the same problem with the q,w,e,r, keys..... pretty much the key just stops clicking at all and feels like there's no spring or nethn in there... with my old bw, the situation has gone as worse as the key staying pushed down for a while too lol (feels like there's something preventing it from coming back up). Though for both keyboards I have never spilled any type of liquid onto it.

Any ideas? I've considered removing the "w" key and seeing whats wrong though I don't know if that would be possible with the CM storm quickfire stealth (also I don't know if it would void the warranty or if they would be able to tell that I tried taking it off)

I actually only got this keyboard a week ago, but only noticed the w key being like that just now... so most likely this only recently happened.

I've attached a video demonstrating the problem....

Uneven clicking in MX blues (and maybe greens) is not unexpected.

My Ducky with MX blues had a couple of keys that did not click at all.

I totally spammed the up arrow, and after about a week of that it started more or less clicking.

The X was still a lot quieter than the rest of the keys when I loaned the keyboard to someone else at work, but now maybe 6 months later the X sounds pretty much the same as the other keys.

If the switch used to click consistently, then it might stop iof something got into the switch and is interfering with the operation of the small parts inside the switch.  It is not generally recommended to open the switch as that requires opening the keyboard and desoldering the switch to open it, and that would definitely void your warranty.

You can try repeatedly pressing the switch and see if it gets better.

If not, where did you buy it and is it still under warranty?
